This series of lessons based around safety not only in the classroom, but also the playground and when travelling. It aims to target a stage 1, year 2 class. The topic of safety is based around the PDHPE criteria.
The WebQuest will be used in collaboration with other classroom activities, such as role plays, reflections, discussions and explorations around the school to find what may be hazardous.
The teacher is to make sure each student is interacting with the webquest, responding to questions where necessary in their workbooks and sharing the computers.
The teacher must check all students work at the end of lesson, and as the students if they have learnt something new.
The teacher must make sure each student has adequate and equal opportunity to interact with the WebQuest.
The teacher must ensure the web quest is used successfully as a support for the lesson.
